Business programme of St. Petersburg will begin in starting day of SPIEF-2018

The first activities of the Business programme of St. Petersburg will begin starting day of SPIEF-2018. Guests and participants in these events will be federal politicians, biggest businessmen, famous broadcasters, and leaders of civil societies and professional communities.

XXII St. Petersburg International Economic Forum will take place in St. Petersburg, from 24 to 26 May 2018. The key subject of SPIEF-2018 will be “Creating the Economy of Trust”. Traditionally, in addition to major events of SPIEF-2018 St. Petersburg prepared one’s business programme such as the panel discussions, the panel sessions and the roundtables; the signature of various agreements are planned.

The thematic sections about 315 years of St. Petersburg, the innovation and industrial capacity, the investment potential and the investment appeal of St. Petersburg will be presented in the exhibit area.

The Business programme of St. Petersburg will begin in 23 of May. The first event will be a roundtable about startups as the driver of Russian economic development. The next theme of events will be industrial tourism development. Also, in this day for the second time in SPIEF will organize a business game “What? Where? When?” together with Alena Povysheva.

The panel session “The economy of the future. Role of the state and business” will be in the first day of SPIEF in 23 of May in 9:00. The moderator of the session will be the Chairman of the Committee Ivan Filippov. Among the main speakers will make a presentation at the session:

On the last day of the Forum 26 of May will start a panel discussion “The role of creative spaces in the current business environment”. This event includes in the Federal Programme of SPIEF.

Experts will also discuss the development of the composite industry in St. Petersburg, the challenge of climate change and circulation economy, the issue of the decreasing in a number of socially significant diseases. The theme of the next discussion will be the economic and social effect obtained by St. Petersburg and Russia from congress events.

Moderators and panelist of events will be Heads of the State authority, famous journalists (Natalia Knyazhevich, Nika Strizhak). Among the participants will be leaders of the federal agencies, representatives of Russian and foreign expert organizations, banks, developer companies and science sphere.
