International Spatial Development Forum is a central location of city for discuss topical issues of transformation of urban spaces of St. Petersburg and development city’s agglomeration.



In accordance with its standard practice, special thematic events and strategic project sessions on key aspects of the Forum held in the course of the year.

The main objective of the Forum is creating an international location for formulation effective strategies of urban development. The program of the Forum includes the panel discussions and thematic sections with the participation of experts from all over the world. Traditionally, chief experts are city managers, corporate representatives, participants of concept of territory development, Heads of the Architecture and Engineering Division, specialists of preservation of historical and cultural legacies, representatives from the International Funds and Institutes of Art and Culture and managing Creative and Public spaces.

The organizers of the Forum are Administration of St. Petersburg, ITMO University and the Council University rectors of St. Petersburg.

The history of the Forum:
I St. Petersburg International Spatial Development Forum was held in 22-24 May 2015
II St. Petersburg International Spatial Development Forum was held in 24-27 September 2016
III St. Petersburg International Spatial Development Forum was held in 28 September 2017
IV St. Petersburg International Spatial Development Forum would take place in 18 June 2018
